Terms of Service

These terms are a binding agreement between you and Nexio (“Nexio,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of our website, apps, AI agent cards, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Nexio gives you an AI-powered contact card. People scan your QR code or tap your NFC card to chat with your AI agent, save your contact details, and book time with you. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You may not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or misrepresent who you are.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Nexio Pro starts with a 30-day free trial, then bills at $14.99/month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing and keep access through the end of the period you've paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds and card returns are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.
4. Physical cards
Physical cards (Classic and Engraved) are one-time purchases. Engraved cards are made to order and can't be returned once in production. Ordering, cancellation, and returns follow our Refund & Returns Policy.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the profile information, links, and materials you add. You grant us the licence needed to host and display them and to operate your AI agent (including sending relevant content to our AI providers to generate responses). You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you publish.
6. Your AI agent
Your agent speaks on your behalf, using the profile and materials you provide. You are responsible for what it represents about you and for keeping that information accurate and lawful. AI responses can be inaccurate or fabricated, and they are not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice — neither you nor the people who interact with your agent should rely on them as such.
7. Our intellectual property
Nexio owns the Service, including its software, design, features, and the Nexio name and logo. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active and in good standing. You may not copy, modify, resell, frame, or reverse-engineer any part of it, or use our branding, without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to send spam, harass anyone, scrape or reverse-engineer it, upload malware, or collect personal data without a lawful basis. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (for example Stripe for payments, our authentication provider, and AI and data providers). Your use of those features is also subject to their terms, and we aren't responsible for their services.
10. Privacy
How we collect, use, and protect personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, with a plain-language summary of our security posture on our Trust Center. By using the Service, you acknowledge that processing.
11. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. AI responses may be inaccurate — don't rely on them as professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexio isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nexio and its team from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, the content you publish, or your breach of these terms or applicable law.
13. Termination & changes
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use means you accept them.
14. General
These terms are the entire agreement between you and Nexio regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor or affiliate. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
